POWERGRID, a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power has announced the PGCIL PESL Trainee Engineer Recruitment 2024 for 47 openings in the Electrical discipline. Candidates having B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical or its equivalent discipline may register for this job opportunity till 6th November 2024. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates who wish to apply online for Trainee Engineer and Trainee Supervisor posts must fulfill the eligibility criteria which is given by the organization.

SELECTION PROCESS
- Computer-Based Test – For the Trainee Supervisor (Electrical) post, the selection of candidates will be solely made through a Written Test / Computer Based Test. The written test will include two parts i.e. Part-I: 120 Questions [Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) and Part II will have 50 Questions on Aptitude Test (AT). All questions will carry 1 mark and wrong or multiple answers will result in negative marks of ¼.
- GATE Score – For the Trainee Engineer (Electrical) post, the shortlisting of candidates will be made through the GATE 2024 Score in EE Paper. The shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a Group Discussion and Personal Interview for final appointment.
- Document Verification – Selected candidates will have to undergo document verification at the designated centers to finalize their appointment for the post.
