UPPSC NOTIFICATION 2024

The official notification for UPPSC 2024 was released in January 2024 and the online application for the form filling starts on January 1,2024. All those candidates who have cleared their graduation from recognised university can apply for this. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Before applying, candidates must check the eligibility criteria like age limit ,educational qualification and nationality .

Candidate must be between 21 years and 40 years  on july 1 2024

  • The candidate must not born before july 02 1984 and after july 01 2023
  • Age relaxation is provided only to reserved categories

EXAM PATTERN

This exam follows three stages of the section process which include prelims, mains and interview. Each paper consists of 200 marks and there are a total 2 hours for each paper.

  • Role of women in society and women’s organisations, population, and associated issues, poverty and developmental issues, urbanisation, their problems, and their remedies.
  • The meaning of liberalisation, privatisation, and globalisation and their effects on the economy, politics, and social structure.
  • Social empowerment, communalism, regionalism, and secularism.
  • Distribution of major natural resources of the world—water, soils, and forests—about South and Southeast Asia with special reference to India. Factors responsible for the location of industries (with special reference to India).
  • Salient features of physical geography include earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic activity, cyclones, ocean currents, winds, and glaciers.

UPPSC INTERVIEW

The UPPSC Interview is the last exam phase. Those who pass the Main Exam will receive a call to come to the Personnel Interview. There will be a 100-mark interview. Candidates are interviewed by a Board designated by the UPPSC.

NUMBER OF VACANCY

The total number of posts available for recruitment through this examination is 220. Posts like – SDM, DSP, Sub Registrar Transport, Basic Education Officer, District Audit Officer, and Senior Lecturer. After the Civil Services Examination conducted by the UPSC, the UPPCS is considered the largest state-level examination in Uttar Pradesh.
