Eligibility Criteria for IREL Apprentice Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Trade Apprentice:
- Fitter / Electrician / Welder / MMV / Instrument Mechanic / Refri. & AC Mechanic / Turner / Plumber / Carpenter → ITI in respective trades.
- Lab Assistant (Chemical Plant) → B.Sc. (Chemistry).
- PASAA → ITI in COPA.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 25 years (as on last date of application)
- Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC (NCL) – 3 years, PWD – 10 years
Salary / Stipend Details
The stipend will be paid as per Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, varying according to trade and qualification (Graduate / Diploma / ITI). Along with the stipend, candidates will gain:
- Practical training in PSU environment
