Eligibility Criteria for IB SA (Motor Transport)
Candidates must meet the following requirements to apply:
Educational Qualification
- 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
- Valid LMV driving license issued by a competent authority.
- Knowledge of motor mechanism (ability to detect and fix minor vehicle defects).
- At least 1 year of driving experience after obtaining the license.
- Must have a domicile certificate of the state applied for.
Age Limit (as on 28.09.2025)
- 18 to 27 years

- Departmental candidates: up to 40 years

- Basic Pay: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (Pay Level-3)
- Special Security Allowance: 20% of basic pay
- Other Perks: DA, HRA, TA, NPS pension, holiday duty compensation (up to 30 days/year)
- Approx. Gross Salary: ₹34,000 – ₹35,000 per month

IB SA (MT) Selection Process 2025
The recruitment process has two stages:
Tier-I: Computer-Based Test (100 Marks, 1 Hour)
- General Awareness – 20 marks
- Basic Transport/Driving Rules – 20 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude – 20 marks
- Reasoning/Analytical Ability – 20 marks
- English Language – 20 marks
- Negative marking: ¼ mark for each wrong answer
Tier-II: Driving Skill Test & Interview (50 Marks)
