Eligibility Criteria for DU IHE Non-Teaching Posts 2026

Educational Qualification

Junior Assistant

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • Typing speed: 35 wpm (English) OR 30 wpm (Hindi)
  • Working knowledge of computers

Laboratory Assistant

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience handling scientific laboratory equipment
  • Experience should be in a University, Govt. organization, PSU, Autonomous body, or private organization (₹200 Crore+ annual turnover)

Laboratory Attendant

  • 10+2 (Science stream), OR
  • 10th pass with Science + ITI/Skill certificate in Laboratory Technology

Age Limit (As on Closing Date)

  • Maximum Age: 32 years
  • Relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per DU & UGC rules
  • One-time age relaxation for contractual/daily wage employees with minimum one-year service
  • 5% marks relaxation for reserved categories
