Major Recruitment overview
In the Karnataka Bank SO Recruitment 2025, candidates will be invited for an interview and the final selection will be based on the interview performance followed by the document verification. Selected candidates will first attend an Induction Training Programme at the Bank’s Staff Training College in Mangaluru. When they complete the training successfully, they will be posted to any branch or office of the bank for period of 1 year (Probation Period).

Eligibility Criteria
For Chartered Accountant (CA), the candidates must have cleared the CA exam. Law Officer needs to be a Master of Law (LLM) passed from a Tier-I College/University. Specialist Officer needs to have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. IT Specialist needs to be a BE/MCA/Mtech.
Here we have given post wise eligibility for Karnataka Bank SO Recruitment 2025:-
1. Chartered Accountant – The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) and have passed the exam in three attempts or less. Only candidates from the 2024 and 2025 batches are considered.
2. Law Officer – The candidate should hold a Master of Law (LLM) from a Tier-I college/university . Only candidates from the 2024 and 2025 batches are considered.
3. Specialist Officer – The candidates should hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from a Tier-I institution or university with at least 70% aggregate marks.
4. IT Specialist – Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in IT, Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or Master of Technology (MTech) in IT from a Tier-I institution or university with at least 70% aggregate marks.

Salary Structure
The initial basic salary of Specialist Officers is Rs 48480 per month, with a pay scale of Rs 48480-62480. In addition to this, the chosen candidates also receive the allowances and benefits as per the cities. The present CTC is around Rs 121000 per month in metro cities.

Bond and Probation Period
The shortlisted candidates will be placed on probation for a period of one year, and their performance will be reviewed. Once they complete this period successfully, they will be confirmed as permanent bank employees. The shortlisted candidates are required to execute a three-year service bond, i.e., they have to serve the bank for a minimum of this period. If they resign before serving for three years, they will be required to pay a penalty as indicated in the appointment letter.
