Minimum educational qualification for SBI CBO is Graduation degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government, such as Integrated Dual Degree (IDD), and candidates with qualifications in Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, and Cost Accountancy are also eligible.

SBI CBO Recruitment: Salary Structure 2025
The candidates, who are to apply for the SBI Circle Based Officers, will be recruited in the Junior Management Grade Scale 1 or JMGS-I. The JMGS 1 designation is mainly used to define the officers, who have just joined the Officer Cadre as a result of promotion from Clerical Cadre.
The Pay Scale of SBI CBO is Rs. 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2- 67160-2680/7-85920. This implies that the CBO will receive a basic pay of Rs 48,480/- with a rise of Rs 2000 for the first 7 years, then a basic of Rs 62480/- with an annual rise of Rs 2340/- for the next two years and so on. The highest basic pay will be Rs 85920 which is a wonderful package.
