The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a notice for the SBI CBO 2025 Recruitment announcing that the selection process will involve an online test with objective and descriptive parts. SBI CBO Exam Pattern 2025
With the implementation of the online written test for SBI CBO, the State Bank of India has also announced the new exam pattern. Aspirants who are gearing up for SBI CBO recruitment must read this pattern attentively. The combined time for both objective and descriptive tests is 2 hours and 30 minutes, or 150 minutes.

Note:
There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. Whether a question is left blank or marked with an incorrect answer there will be no negative marking, i.e. there will be no penalty for any wrong answer.
SBI CBO Interview 2025
The interview will be of 50 marks. Candidates will be required to achieve a minimum qualifying mark in an interview to be eligible for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be determined by the Bank. The final merit list will be prepared for candidates who pass both in the Online Test and the Interview, and marks obtained in both phases will be added.
Local Language Proficiency Test: SBI CBO 2025
The SBI CBO Local Language Test is meant to gauge a candidate’s skills in the local language of the place where they have applied. It tests their reading, writing, and comprehension skills in the local language and is a vital part of the hiring process.
Shortlisted candidates provisionally after the online test, screening, and interview are required to appear for the Local Language Test. But candidates who have studied the concerned local language as a subject during their 10th or 12th standard and are in possession of a valid mark sheet or certificate as proof are exempted from this process.
Candidates who don’t qualify the local language test will not be given an appointment, even though they have cleared the other phases of the selection process. Below is the list of local languages.
